Not one to stay out to the bad-girl spotlight for long, Lindsay Lohan now stands accused of masterminding a mini fur heist. It’s an unexpected change from the usual rumors of habitual wagon-slipping for the 21-year-old, as the New York Post reports LiLo left a party with mink coat she didn’t show up in.

The coat’s rightful owner, Masha Markova, told the paper she attended a private birthday bash back in January. Lindsay also showed up to the celebration, but left before Masha and helped herself to the 22-year-old student’s $11,000 pale mink, which was placed in a communal coat bin.

At the time of the incident, Masha had no idea what became of the pricey gift from her grandmother, but a month later, while browsing at a copy of OK! magazine, she spotted her wayward shag. “I was actually talking on the phone to my grandmother about something else, and then I flipped through the magazine, saw the picture and said, ‘I need to call you back,’” she said. “It was my coat. It was no doubt!”

After spying more shots of Lindsay sporting her fancy fur, Masha had her lawyer contact LiLo’s lawyer. While Lindsay’s peeps wouldn’t play the blame game, they did deliver the coat, albeit slightly torn and smelling of cigarettes. But still!

The fur’s back in fine form now, thanks to a thorough clean up and mending. All that’s left is the little matter of the rental fee. Masha wants some compensation for her troubles and told the Post about $10,000 should do it.

Joel Madden has some explaining to do
Lindsay may make more headlines once Nicole Richie finds out she was partying with her main man and baby daddy, Joel Madden. TMZ spies caught the Good Charlotte frontman sitting up close and personal with Nicole’s favorite frenemy Monday night at a Cinco de Mayo celebration held at West Hollywood’s Crown Bar.

With Mother’s Day right around the corner, maybe Joel can make up for his questionable choice of party pal by throwing Nicole a big event of her own. “I don’t have any (plans) yet but I’m going to plan something special,” he told Us Weekly that same night.

Of course, Nicole might not want to get her hopes up by expecting something too special. When Us asked him if he planned a proposal, Joel said, “Not anytime soon.”

Dish on the fly
At seven months pregnant, Nicole Kidman is reaching out to BFF Naomi Watts for baby-to-be tips. “Whenever you’re pregnant, you always call on your pregnant friends and compare notes,” Naomi told People magazine. “It’s what happens in friendship.” The “Painted Veil” actress gave birth to her first child last summer. As for whether or not she thinks her pal will make a good mommy, Naomi said, “She’s already a great mum.” … “How I Met Your Mother” star Neil Patrick Harris credits Christine Taylor with helping figure out his sexual orientation. Christine, now married to Ben Stiller, had a brief fling with the actor many years ago. “She’s the coolest nicest chick ever,” Neil told Howard Stern. “She’s an absolute catch, and I thought, ‘If I’m not going to feel the super sparks with her … it probably means I’m gay.’” … “Umbrella” singer Rihanna, who’s denied rumored romances with Josh Hartnett and Chris Brown, has sworn off celebrity hookups all together. “If I was dating someone who wasn’t in this industry, they would be in the same place, all the time, so I could go back to that place and know where they were,” she said in a quote posted to ContactMusic. “If they did what I do we’d both be traveling at the same time and we would never see each other.”
