Fire Destroys Mobile Home in Marion County

A Marion County woman lost her home to a fire Wednesday night. It happened off of Route 73 North near Meadowdale. The woman told firefighters that a couch cushion had caught on fire earlier in the evening and that she put it out with several cups of water. A smoke alarm later alerted her to a fire in the living room area. No one was injured, but the trailer was a total loss.
