Look out Richard Attenborough. You’ve got competition on the horizon: Britney Spears is planning to direct a movie.

The Mousketeer turned belly-baring warbler reveals on her Web site that she’s written a musical, “Hollywood,” which she also wants to direct. The movie “makes fun of the whole Hollywood scene” writes Spears, who makes this case for getting behind the camera: “When a woman directs, I think it just alters the entire feel of the movie, production or play in such a positive way.”

And in other news, Spears reveals that she just bought her new dog, Lucky, a new dresser and “baby chandelier” which will both be placed in Lucky’s room.

Angelina Jolie doesn’t have a boyfriend, and says she doesn’t want one. She has lovers.

“We meet in hotel rooms and the whole thing is very precise and organized,” the “Alexander” star told London’s Mail on Sunday. “As long as you have safe sex and you don’t confuse your family, I think it’s very healthy.”

Jolie also revealed that she and co-star Colin Farrell considered becoming romantically involved, but decided they were too much alike.  “Colin and I did become very close and the idea of dating one day was discussed,” she said. “He is a very interesting man and artist. But we also talked about how we're maybe too similar. At this point, we're just the greatest of friends.”

She said the star was on location and unreachable for comment, and added, “I don’t know that she’s ever been diagnosed with it. Maybe she just meant, ‘I have the attention span of a gnat.’”  ... Nicole Kidman writes short stories. No word on when the “Dogville” star plans to have her fiction published ... Anna Nicole Smith has slimming secrets beyond that TrimSpa stuff that’s she’s always touting.
